Leadfeeder shows you companies.
VisitorLead shows you people.
Leadfeeder (the product formerly known as Dealfront) tells you which companies visited your site. VisitorLead tells you who, name, title, LinkedIn profile, with the session replay attached. Here's the honest comparison.
Pick Leadfeeder if
- You need company-level signals on global traffic
- Your workflow depends on native CRM integrations like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive
- You want to watch its Lite-tier company feed before paying anything
Pick VisitorLead if
- Your outreach starts with a person, and a company name doesn't tell you who to write to
- Most of your buyers are in the US
- You want the session replay of the visit attached to every identified lead
- You'd rather pay per identified person ($19/month for 50) than per company tier
Pick neither if
- Your traffic is mostly consumers or students, there's nothing B2B to match
- Your site gets a handful of visits a week, spend that budget on traffic first
- Nobody will act on a lead within a few days, the signal decays fast
Leadfeeder vs VisitorLead, side by side
| Leadfeeder | VisitorLead | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identification level | Companies (firmographic visitor ID) | Individual people: name, title, LinkedIn profile | Leadfeeder's contact suggestions come from its B2B database after the company is identified, not from knowing who visited. |
| Session replay | Not offered | Included on every plan, attached to each lead | The replay shows what each lead read and skipped before you write to them. |
| Pricing entry point | €99/month billed annually, up to 50 companies identified | $19/month, 50 identified people included | Leadfeeder also has a Lite tier at €0 (up to 100 companies/month, limited features) and a Platform tier from €399/month. Source: leadfeeder.com/pricing, accessed June 12, 2026. |
| Per-lead cost at entry | ≈ €1.98 per identified company | $0.38 per identified person; $0.44 each past the included 50 | Different units: a company still needs a person picked out of it before anyone can write an email. VisitorLead overage has a hard cap you control. |
| Trial policy | 14-day trial, no card needed, then auto-downgrade to Lite | No free trial; card at signup, month-to-month, cancel anytime | Honest trade: they let you browse first, we bill from day one but you can leave any month. |
| Traffic coverage | Global | US traffic only | If most of your buyers are outside the US, Leadfeeder is the safer pick today. |
| Alerts | Email and Slack alerts, custom feeds | Email alerts at your chosen frequency | |
| Integrations | Dozens of native integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Slack) | CSV and Excel export, in-app CRM-style lead view | If a native CRM sync is non-negotiable, this row is Leadfeeder's. |
| GDPR and EU traffic | EU company, built to process EU traffic under GDPR | US-only by design; EU visitors are never identified | Two answers to the same regulation: operate inside it, or stay out of its scope. |
| Setup | JavaScript snippet or Google Tag Manager | One pixel | Minutes either way. |
| Contract | Monthly or annual; annual billing is the advertised price | Month-to-month, cancel anytime | |
| Best for | Account-based teams with global traffic | Person-first outbound on US B2B traffic |

Where Leadfeeder is stronger
A comparison you can trust has to say this part out loud. Three things Leadfeeder does better:
Global coverage
Leadfeeder identifies companies on traffic from anywhere; VisitorLead only matches US visitors. If your pipeline is mostly EU or APAC, this alone decides it.
Integration depth
Native Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and Slack integrations built over a decade. VisitorLead is export-based today, not a two-way CRM sync.
Try before you buy
A 14-day trial plus a Lite tier at €0 lets you watch your own company feed before spending. VisitorLead bills from day one, offset by month-to-month billing and a hard spend cap.
Leadfeeder vs VisitorLead questions
Is Leadfeeder the same as Dealfront?
Yes. Leadfeeder merged with Echobot and rebranded as Dealfront in 2023, then the company renamed itself back to Leadfeeder on March 24, 2026. Subscriptions, pricing, and features carried over unchanged, so any Leadfeeder vs Dealfront comparison is the same product under two names.
Does Leadfeeder show individual people who visit my website?
No. Leadfeeder identifies the company a visitor works for, then lets you look up contacts at that company from its B2B database of about 400 million contacts. The person it suggests is not necessarily the person who visited. VisitorLead identifies the visitor themselves, name, title, and LinkedIn profile, for US traffic. The mechanics behind that difference are covered in our person-level vs company-level guide.
Can I run Leadfeeder and VisitorLead at the same time?
Yes. They are separate scripts that don't conflict, and some teams pair them: Leadfeeder for company-level signals on global traffic, VisitorLead for person-level identification and session replay on US traffic. Both entry tiers are cheap enough to test side by side on the same site. Still mapping the market? Our guide to the best visitor identification tools covers eight of them.
What happens to my non-US traffic with VisitorLead?
It isn't identified. VisitorLead matches US-based visitors only, by design. Analytics and session replay still capture every visit, but if most of your buyers are outside the US, Leadfeeder's global company-level coverage is the better fit today.
What replaces Leadfeeder's company feed if I switch?
There is no one-to-one replacement, and it's worth being clear about that. VisitorLead gives you a feed of identified people plus a web-analytics view of sessions and channels. You give up the list of companies that visited without producing a person-level match; you gain that every lead in your feed is an actual visitor you can contact directly. What counts as a match explains exactly what lands in that feed.
