Is website visitor identification worth it?

If you run a B2B site with US visitors and someone who acts on leads, the math is simple: Starter is $19 for 50 identified leads, well under a dollar per named contact with a session replay attached. One booked meeting typically covers a year of the subscription. If your visitors are consumers, mostly outside the US, or nobody does outreach, it isn't worth it. Skip it.

Who is VisitorLead not for?

B2C, e-commerce, and local consumer businesses, because consumer visitors don't resolve to business profiles. Companies with mostly non-US traffic, since identification is US-only by design. And teams with no outreach motion: if nobody acts on a lead, the lead has no value. We'd rather say this upfront than bill you for matches you won't use.

My traffic is low. Does it still make sense?

Usually, yes. Low traffic means your included matches accumulate over a longer window, not that they stop coming. Each lead arrives with a session replay showing what they looked at, which is exactly the context early outreach needs. And if matches come faster than you can act on them, the hard cap keeps spend flat.

Is there a free trial?

No. A card is required at signup and the subscription bills immediately. Every identified lead has a real cost behind it, and a single matched VP is usually worth more than a month of Growth.

Overages are on by default at your plan rate ($0.44 Starter, $0.29 Growth). One toggle switches them off; past the cap we stop identifying new visitors entirely. Analytics and replays still capture those visits.

What counts as a match?

A US visitor we resolved to a full business profile (LinkedIn URL + name + title + company). Anonymous visits, anything outside the US, and bots don't count.

One workspace can hold multiple sites. Match dedup is per workspace, not per site, so a visitor identified on site A is free on site B.
